As the Town of Mashpee transitions from years of wastewater planning toward the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and sewer system, a recent hire is settling into the new position of Mashpee town engineer. Christopher Gallagher started as town engineer on June 7, a little more than a month after Town Meeting in May unanimously approved a $54 million debt exclusion for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and collection system.
